Hello Fellow Butte-Sierra District Dental Society Members:
By now, we all recognize these are uncharted and uncertain times with no idea of when our lives will return to normal. As dental professionals, upmost in our minds are concerns for our families, patients, dental teams, and our community.
Now more than ever is the time to look towards our organized dentistry leadership for guidance and advice on how to navigate through the ongoing pandemic. Organized dentistry has been working tirelessly in advocacy efforts as legislation and regulations are crafted to mitigate the severe threat to public health and our dental livelihood.
Both the ADA and CDA are regularly posting important information and updates on COVID-19 related matters of interest to members including practice viability, HR issues, and volunteering to help during the crisis. I urge you all to use them as a trusted resource at this time.
The ADA website can be accessed by clicking: ADA.org/virusresources
The CDA website can be accessed by clicking: CDA.org/covid19
In the meantime, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this difficult time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or BSDDS Executive Director, Rhonda Herrin, with any questions for concerns you might have.
Stay well,
Parker White, DDS
